Forcing myself to not run today was difficult, but in the end I know it will pay off. I headed to the gym after sleeping in, doing about 25 minutes on the precor. I have also been doing some hardcore stretching, which I think is really helping. At the end of the day, it is frustrating watching runners all around me improve & improve & improve, while I feel like I am barely keeping my head above the surface.

Distance: 5 miles (3 on precor & 2 running)
State of Mind: I think I need to start forcing myself to find my inner-hippie...since obviously nothing is in my control
