I literally forced myself out the door today, did an easy & quick loop around Ft. Greene park. Definitely felt good on my legs. And today, I started a biweekly (is that twice a week?) core/arms routine. Started small today, with three sets of push ups & some abs...hopefully I will find my inner-trainer & get back to the basics I learned in SB.

Distance: 3+ miles plus core/arms
State of Mind: Nothing like a run to calm my mind

  1. Biweekly is one of those words that have become pretty much useless. It is commonly used to refer to both "every other week" and "twice a week." Semiweekly unambiguously means 2x a week, but might sound a wee bit dorky (not that there's anything wrong...). And bimonthly has the same split personality as biweekly.

We should be thankful that this ambiguity problem does not extend to the word bicycle. You'd never get very far on half a wheel.

Lesson over. Luv ya, one runners world!
